Using the BRAIN Worksheet for Informed Decision Making

Do you have an important health decision to make? Learn how to use the BRAIN acronym for decision making. The BRAIN worksheet (Benefits, Risks, Alternatives, Intuition, Next Steps) was developed in collaboration with a number of groups, including members of the Patient Voices Network. It helps you to think about the Benefits, Risks, and Alternatives to a decision. It asks you what your gut or intuition says and it helps you to clarify the next steps that make sense to you.
