Communicating with Clarity and Compassion Online Course

We’re very happy to announce the release of our newest online course: Communicating with Clarity and Compassion.

We have offered many face-to-face workshops in the past, and we had plans to gradually add online courses to our services. But in order to make our content more accessible to people while social distancing and complying with shelter in place orders, we knew we would have to start moving quickly to make content available online. In light the rapid changes to health-care this year, we wanted to start with a course that offered some efficient and effective communication skills.

The communication challenges have been immense in these past months, and have reminded us that clear communication can prevent issues, create engagement and enhance well-being in any situation. Professional and peer care workers are having to absorb new information and processes so quickly, and then they have to turn around immediately and teach much of that information and those processes to the people that they serve. This course offers practical skills for communicating with clarity and compassion in any interaction and any kind of relationship.

This course is run in groups of 6-24 and moderated by one of our experienced trainers. Click here to find out more about the course and how to sign up.
