Patsy Beattie-Hugan
Patsy Beattie-Huggan, BN, MScN is the founder and President of The Quaich Inc., a PEI based health promotion consulting company incorporated in 1998. Building on her background in nursing education and health system management, and her passion for health promotion, she has served as consultant to many provincial, national and international projects. Since 2003, she has been instrumental in the delivery of the Atlantic Summer Institute on Healthy and Safe Communities. Amongst other achievements are her coordination of the 6th Global Forum on Health Promotion in 2016 and her leadership to the development and ongoing dissemination of the Circle of Health©. Patsy holds a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of New Brunswick (UNB) and a MSc. in Nursing and Health Studies from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. In 2020 she was awarded the UNB Alumni Award of Distinction. She lives in Charlottetown, PEI.
