Vanessa holds a Master’s of Education in Counselling and has experience in mental health, rehabilitation, crisis intervention and supporting survivors of gender-based violence. She takes a person-centered, evidence-based approach to her work and enjoys supporting individuals and teams to recognize their own strengths while making choices that align with their goals.

Through her non-profit committee work, she has supported training and professional development programs, community initiatives and helped build partnerships that connect organizations more closely with the people they serve. In these roles, she values data informed decision-making and input from diverse perspectives to guide ethical professional practices.

As a lifelong learner, she brings curiosity, openness, and a collaborative spirit to the board. She is committed to building strong relationships, fostering trust and supporting equitable, meaningful change.
